Surtech Systems was formed in 1997 to develop and manufacture innovative and advanced directional survey systems for the Australian drilling industry. Bringing together a vast background in oilfield, mining and utilities directional drilling experience, Surtech Systems has successfully introduced a number of "firsts", providing more flexibility, more cost effective directional drilling solutions and more accuracy in the targeting and intersection of drillholes.
Surtech Systems personnel have a wide range of directional drilling experience across the oil, mining and utilities drilling operations This experience has been gained from hands on field operations as well as concept development and planning since 1974 and collectively totals more than 50 years.
Our people have been part of and responsible for every significant advance in directional drilling and downhole surveying technique introduced into Australian mining and utilities drilling over the past 15 years.

In recent times Surtech Systems has expanded from a manufacturer to now providing equipment rental and directional drilling services.
Surtech Systems also has a fully equipped calibration and repair facility including a controlled magnetic environment laboratory to ensure integrity of magnetometer calibrations. This facility not only supports Surtech's own equipment but also has the capability to support the repair of many third party directional systems. Ask us if we can support the system you own.
Surtech Systems is continually developing new techniques and systems to improve accuracy, add benefit and reduce costs associated with directional drilling operations and to respond to market demands.
Surtech Systems also works closely with our clients to develop and support application specific techniques and instrumentation for unique or challenging operational environments.
